Visit to Diagnostyka in Kraków – Modern Diagnostics, Innovation, and the Future of Cooperation Between Education and Business

Our Head Director, Agnieszka Sańka, together with the President of the Management Board of Kolegium Europejskie, Krzysztof Felpel, visited the headquarters of Diagnostyka in Kraków to see from the inside how one of the largest and most innovative diagnostic companies in Poland operates.

The visit was an incredibly inspiring experience that allowed us to discover what modern laboratory medicine, advanced technologies, and interdisciplinary cooperation look like today – from medical laboratories and data analytics to advanced IT solutions.

Modern Laboratories and the Technology of the Future

During the visit, we had the opportunity to tour state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratories where thousands of tests are performed every day to support patients across Poland. We were able to observe the daily work of laboratory specialists and see how important precision, automation, and modern medical equipment are in contemporary diagnostics.

We were especially impressed by the IT department, where technology meets medicine and where – as one could say – the real magic of modern diagnostics happens. This is where systems supporting result analysis, data flow, and the security of medical information are developed and continuously improved.

Today’s laboratory diagnostics is no longer limited to laboratories and blood tests. It also includes advanced information technology, process automation, artificial intelligence, and innovative solutions supporting both doctors and patients.
