Meeting with Rafał Sonik – An Inspiring Experience at Our International School in Krakow

At our international school located in the very heart of Krakow, we continuously strive to inspire our students to take action, grow, and pursue their passions. This time, we had the honor of welcoming an extraordinary guest – Rafał Sonik, motorsport champion, entrepreneur, Dakar Rally winner, and a truly inspiring personality.

This meeting was part of our ongoing series, “Inspiring People at Our School”, a key element of the educational program at our IB high school. These events aim to show our students that with hard work, determination, and courage, they can achieve remarkable things – both in their personal and professional lives.

Rafał Sonik shared his story with us – a journey to the top, filled with challenges, moments of doubt, but also immense motivation and perseverance. His passionate account of his love for motorsports, entrepreneurship, and investment was not only inspiring but also deeply authentic. What moved our students most was his honesty in speaking about his experiences, and the warmth with which he answered every question.

After the main interview, conducted by our President, Mr. Krzysztof Felpel, students had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Sonik personally. These conversations went beyond his sports career and touched on topics such as the investment market, stock trading, and even the students’ own business ideas.

Importantly, Rafał Sonik is also well known for his charitable work. For years, he has been involved in various social initiatives, including the “Sonik Team – Maluchy” project, which supports children with disabilities.
