Kolegium Europejskie in Krakow is a modern school and one of the largest IB schools in Europe, known for its unique approach to education and for shaping future “global citizens.” Operating since 2004, the school has already seen hundreds of graduates successfully complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Kolegium Europejskie offers an international environment, with students from over 25 countries around the world.

An Elite Approach to Education

Our school offers the IB programme, which responds to the needs of the modern world. Students not only gain knowledge but also develop critical thinking and the ability to express their own opinions—skills that are crucial for studying at international universities. This is what makes us stand out among schools in Poland. Young people learn how to form and justify their views, which prepares them exceptionally well for both academic life and international careers.

At Kolegium Europejskie, we place great emphasis on openness to different perspectives and the development of interpersonal skills, which help students build international relationships. The curriculum also includes subjects rarely offered in Polish schools, such as Business, Economics, Psychology, Visual Arts, or Global Perspectives, providing students with the chance to explore their passions in a global context.

In the final years of high school, classes are conducted in English, and students take their International Baccalaureate exams in English as well—opening doors to universities all over the world. We support students throughout the application process to international universities.

Kolegium Europejskie is also an official SAT testing center, allowing students to take this important exam required by many American universities. We offer SAT prep courses that help students achieve the best possible scores, increasing their chances of admission to top institutions around the world.

International Exchanges – Learning Through Experience

One of our school’s greatest strengths is its international exchange programs, which allow students to gain knowledge and experience across the globe. We organize trips to countries such as China, India, and the USA, while travel throughout Europe has become standard practice. Through these programs, students are exposed to various cultures, develop their language skills, and form international friendships.

Each trip is a unique opportunity for hands-on learning and excellent preparation for life in a globalized world. We also participate in prestigious Erasmus+ programs and are one of the few schools in Poland to have received a Norwegian grant for the development of international education and exchanges with Scandinavian countries.

International Primary School – Original Program and Modern Methods

At our primary school, students learn in an international environment from an early age. We offer a bilingual educational program conducted in both Polish and English, based on the Dalton Method and elements of the Finnish education system. Classes are also led by native English speakers, helping children acquire the language naturally and paving the way for an international future.

Additionally, we offer the prestigious Cambridge programme, which allows students to take international exams (e.g., FCE) directly at the school—an immense convenience and a great opportunity for their future. In this program, children learn in English.

Our school also features an original PIE (Interdisciplinary Education) program, combining different fields of knowledge to help students better understand complex topics and apply them practically. This program emphasizes cross-subject collaboration, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills in the context of real-world challenges.

To nurture students’ passions and interests, we offer a wide range of extracurricular clubs. Students can explore their talents, develop hobbies, and discover new areas of knowledge in a cooperative and joyful learning environment.

Partnerships with Global Leaders – CISCO

Our school collaborates with global corporations, including CISCO, a leader in networking technologies. Students participate in classes and projects conducted in cooperation with CISCO experts, giving them a competitive edge on the job market and preparing them for careers in cutting-edge industries.

We also work with the British Council, providing our students with excellent opportunities for language development and access to international certifications such as IELTS or Cambridge English Qualifications. These certificates validate students’ English proficiency at the level required by foreign universities and international employers.

Individual Student Support

As the official representative of BrainCore in Poland, Kolegium Europejskie offers an innovative educational tool that helps students better understand their strengths and weaknesses. BrainCore assessments provide a detailed analysis of each student’s predispositions, which are then reviewed with a coach. This allows for personalized learning methods, subject choices, and educational paths to maximize learning effectiveness and support informed academic and career decisions.

Our school has a dedicated Psychological and Pedagogical Support Center that offers comprehensive assistance to all students—from primary to high school. With a specialized approach and tailored support, students receive psychological and pedagogical help at every stage of their education, both in Polish and English. Our students are given priority access to these services, ensuring individual support that fosters both emotional and intellectual growth. The team of professionals is always available to support students through challenges, adapting assistance to meet individual needs.

We understand that learning foreign languages can be challenging, especially for students with dyslexia. That’s why our school implements specialized English language teaching methods tailored to these students. This approach allows them to develop their language skills in a way suited to their abilities, using modern technology and interactive learning materials.

We offer SST (Social Skills Training), which helps students build confidence, effective communication, and teamwork abilities. Conducted in a friendly environment, these sessions teach how to cope with stress, resolve conflicts, and build healthy relationships—skills essential in both everyday life and future careers.

In addition, our school employs cultural assistants who play a key role in integrating students from different backgrounds. These assistants support international students as they adapt to a new educational and cultural environment. With their help, students settle in more easily and learn to appreciate and understand cultural diversity. Their presence is extremely important in international education, as they offer both practical and emotional support, helping students form connections and learn about different cultures. This support helps students feel more comfortable and confident, enhancing their academic and social development.

Modern Infrastructure – Comfort and Space

The school stands out thanks to its excellent infrastructure. Spacious, air-conditioned classrooms, a modern library, gymnasium, fitness room, and workout spaces provide a comfortable environment for both learning and physical development. For younger children, we offer an indoor play zone (“małpi gaj”), and for older students, dedicated relaxation areas such as the “chill room,” where they can rest and recharge during a busy school day.

Join the KE Family!

Kolegium Europejskie was awarded the title of Best School of the Year in Krakow and in the Małopolska region in 2024 in the Gazeta Krakowska poll. This recognition reflects the high quality of education and the dedication of our teaching staff, who have earned numerous awards, including distinctions from the Ministry of International Education. Our faculty not only ensures high academic standards but also works closely with each student, supporting their individual growth. They are specialists who are eager to share their knowledge and experience, offering personal guidance and support in every situation.

Whether you’re planning to study in Poland or abroad, our school will give you a solid foundation to pursue your dreams. It’s a place where students explore their passions, gain knowledge, and form lifelong international friendships.
