At the end of November 2025, the management team and teachers of Kolegium Europejskie took part in an Erasmus+ educational mobility in France. Our host institution was Lycée-Collège Grand Air in La Baule-Escoublac – a prestigious school located in an elegant seaside resort on the Atlantic coast, surrounded by greenery and a calm environment conducive to learning and reflection.
An important part of the visit involved meetings between the management teams of both schools, focusing on school organisation, current challenges in education, and future development paths. These discussions provided space for open exchange of experiences and helped build mutual trust as a foundation for long-term international cooperation.
During the mobility, teachers observed lessons in subjects such as mathematics, chemistry, history and global politics, gaining insight into teaching methods and classroom organisation at the partner school. A special highlight was a mathematics lesson conducted in French for final-year students by Estelle Szafran-Florian, which was very well received and confirmed the high professional competence of our teaching staff.
The visit also included preparations for a Polish–French student exchange. Mobility dates were agreed upon and the programme, objectives and main assumptions of the exchange were discussed in detail. The mobility concluded with the signing of a long-term cooperation agreement between the two schools, covering future mobilities and joint educational initiatives.
A particularly inspiring element of the visit were interviews conducted by French students with Polish teachers. The recorded material will be used to create a podcast to be broadcast on local radio, promoting intercultural dialogue and the Erasmus+ programme.
The mobility also had a cultural dimension. Participants explored the history and character of La Baule and visited Saint-Nazaire, Nantes and the Gulf of Morbihan, discovering the traditional side of Brittany.
The entire visit took place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The openness and hospitality of our French partners fostered genuine exchange, relationship-building and a strong sense of partnership. It was an intensive and highly valuable experience, combining professional development, sharing of good practices and the creation of lasting international connections for the benefit of the whole school community.
