Chemistry in Practice – Professional Laboratory, Real Competencies
Modern education requires more than a textbook and a whiteboard. In our chemistry laboratory, students work with equipment used in real scientific research. This year, the lab has been enhanced with a spectrophotometer – a professional analytical instrument used for precise analysis of substance concentrations in solutions.
Thanks to this, chemistry classes take place in conditions similar to those of a real research laboratory. Students do not only learn theory – they verify it. They independently prepare samples, perform measurements, analyze data, and formulate conclusions. This is practical chemistry education at an academic level.
Modern Chemistry Laboratory – An Investment in Teaching Quality
We consistently invest in the development of our laboratory facilities because we believe that the best education is experience-based education. Professional laboratory equipment enables students to:
perform real spectrophotometric measurements,
analyze graphs and quantitative relationships,
work with authentic measurement data,
develop critical interpretation skills.
It is learning through action – exactly how scientists work in research laboratories.
IB Chemistry – Precision, Analysis, and Scientific Evidence
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Chemistry program is not about spectacular experiments for effect. It is about precise analysis, logical thinking, and understanding scientific research methodology.
Students learn to:
move from observation to numerical data,
from data to statistical analysis,
from analysis to logical, well-justified conclusions.
They develop key competencies essential in medicine, pharmacy, biotechnology, engineering, economics, and anywhere decisions are made based on reliable data analysis.
This is not just learning chemistry. It is learning how to work consciously and responsibly with data.
Experienced Guidance and Real Support
Classes are led by Dr. Karolina Gawlak-Parciak, who guides students step by step through the research process – from hypothesis, through measurement, to interpretation of results. Calmly, consistently, and with a strong emphasis on understanding.
Because the most important reaction does not happen in a test tube. It happens when data begins to make sense.
If you are looking for a school where chemistry means real laboratory experience, work with professional equipment, and the development of future-ready skills – we invite you to visit our modern laboratory and join our workshops during our Open Day on March 26.
Here, theory meets practice. And learning becomes evidence.
