New year, new challenges – how is international education changing in 2026?

The beginning of a new year is always a moment for reflection, but also for looking ahead. As we welcome 2026, our school community enters another stage of development – full of challenges, inspiration and new opportunities. Although the winter break was a time to rest, the world of education never slows down. On the contrary – it is changing faster than ever before.

Which teaching trends will shape the coming months? What role does the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme play in these changes? And why will this year be especially important for many of our students – because it will culminate in the IB Diploma examinations?

Education of the future – more than just knowledge
